Administrative Affairs include all the paperwork involved with making a successful convention. This includes note taking, meeting facilitation, good internal communications, and excellent file keeping. It is establishing good personal points of contact, and assigning and reporting on areas of responsibility.

It also involves good contract negotiation and financial planning abilities. Each of these can make or break a convention (and its organizers) from a functional, financial, and legal liability point of view.
