Many conventions produce a glossy Program Book, which is rather a misnomer, because the longer lead times mean any programme is outdated compared with the Pocket Program. It is actually a con souvenir.
A few conventions decide to delay its production until after the event, so they can include photos and reports of the event, with the risk that burnout might delay its release so long people have lost interest.
