A programme item which allows attendees to meet authors and other guests informally over a coffee for an hour or so. Signup sheets are created for 10 people with a few reserve spaces. A couple of hours before the item the sheets are taken down. Attendees bring their own coffee, the host is encouraged to go to the Green Room to get theirs, and all converge in the lounge in reserved seating.
Variants include the Literary Beer or Stroll With the Stars
Virtual Kaffeeklatsches might use a programme (not consuite) Zoom with signup sheets using Google Forms.
