Whereas the entire art track may indeed be considered a multi-day silent auction, the term art auction is most often used in the program grid to be the scheduled voice auction event. Whether or not they know the exact procedure for submitting bids, they may see that event on the schedule, and choosing to attend, it may be their first encounter with genre art.
