Theme

A Theme is a unifying idea behind the convention. Something that lets you organize the programs and other events at the convention, and that serves to suggest what panels would be good to have.

At a high level the theme might be Horror Films, or Anime Series. But you might go to a deeper level and have "Hammer Horror films of the 60s and 70s" or "The Anime films of Hayao Miyazaki". From there you might have a dance with props and costumes from the movies, or a Consuite with props and foods from the films, for example.
