Site Selection, v. The process of picking where a convention will be held.

Usually there are two aspects of this. First, the potential Convention Committee examines various hotels and convention centers to find the right combination of rooms and other accomodations for the convention. Second, for many conventions with changing sites, the combinations are put to a vote by the potential members of the convention. Examples of conventions that conduct this kind of site selection vote are Worldcon and Westercon.
