Art Show

The Art Show is an art gallery-like area set up for the purpose of displaying genre related art pieces. These can be extremely varied, from smal pieces of jewelry, to table top sized and free standing sculptures or costumes, up through automobile sized objects, wall sized tapestries, and perhaps larger. The vast majority of pieces are typically paintings and drawings, designed for wall hanging and sized less than 20 x 30 inches, but even then the pieces can be heavy or somewhat three dimensional. The area for the art must be secure against unauthorized removal of pieces.

Often the art pieces are for sale or auction, with the proceeds going to the artist, the convention, and/or a charity.
