A Board of Directors is one way to structure the governing board of a convention or organization. Typically the Board will select from within its membership a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Directors at Large may also be appointed. All Board operations are usually guided by a set of Bylaws, which will indicate among other things the process by which it is to be amended.
