A panel blurb is the element of the program book that will connect an audience to an event. The blurb, along with the title, should be a clear, concise descriptor of a program item, such that both the program participants and the audience can use it as a guide. The purpose is not to appeal to everyone, but instead to appeal to the people who will really enjoy the program item.
To this end, a blurb should be specific, interesting, and entertaining.
