Administrative Affairs is all the paperwork involved with making a successful convention. It is note taking skills, and good internal communications, and excellent file keeping. It is establishing good personal points of contact, and assigning and reporting on areas of responsibility.
It also involves good contract and finance abilities. Each of these can make or break a convention (and its organizers) from a functional, financial, and legal liability point of view.
