Board Meeting

A Board Meeting is a meeting of the Board of Directors. Depending on how your organization is structured, this may be a very formal meeting, or just another meeting of the ConCom.

For example, if your organization is incorporated, the Board may be required by law or Bylaws to have one or more business meetings in which certain events occur, such as election of officers or formally approving budgets and expenses. Or the Board and the ConCom may be essentially two different groups of people handling different aspects of the convention business, such as in a Parent Organization - convention relationship. Or they may be combined into one functional entity, in which case organization business and convention business merge together.
